K1D4 Drop in decoder for Kato N-Scale SD40, SD40-2, SD70MAC, SD70/75M, C44-9W, AC4400, Athearn F45 and More
This full featured 4 function BEMF decoder is designed to fit the following locomotives: Kato N-Scale EMD SD40, EMD SD40-2, EMD SD70MAC, EMD SD70/75M, GE C44-9W, GE AC4400W, "Gevo" ES44AC, and Athearn F45. Included is our auto-adjusting BEMF for outstanding slow speed performance and hassle free set up. Also includes Quiet Drive for super quiet engine performance.
Note: This version of the K1D4 has copper tabs installed which slip over the motor contacts on the locomotive. If your locomotive uses wires, see the "-NC" version.
- Back EMF Load Compensation: Provides superior slow speed control and high performance under load.
- Quiet Drive: Super-quiet motor control for "buzz" free motor performance.
- DC Mode: Decoder will automatically detect DC power. You can also configure how your lighting effects function on DC.
- RailCom®: This feature allows the decoder to talk to the command station. RailCom supports expansion for new features.

- LED Support: This product does not require external resistors when connecting LED's.
- Incandescent Bulb Support: This decoder can be used with 12 Volt bulbs.
