Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe 36' Riveted Steel Caboose, Offset Cupola #999640

• This 36’ riveted steel caboose with offset cupola is white with green roof and green lettering and runs on Bettendorf trucks. Built in the late 1920s, this CE-7 all-steel caboose was later rebuilt by ATSF and painted in a Christmas-themed red, white and green scheme. It toured the Santa Fe network for about a month during the holidays in 1973 before being painted into its standard brown paint.
