• The ASF® 100-ton Roller Bearing Truck is from the modern diesel era. It has standard 36-inch wheels and a longer wheelbase than the 50 or 70-ton roller bearing trucks. Our model is a faithful reproduction of the American Steel Foundries® Ride Control® truck. This truck is currently in use under a variety of rolling stock in North America.

• Once Kadee trucks have been fitted to the car, always check the coupler height. Coupler height modification will probably be required due to non-standardized original equipment manufacturing in O-Scale. Always check coupler height and trip pin clearance using the #812 Kadee® Coupler Height Gauge for O-Scale, and check for the correct coupler height and trip pin clearance. If needed only use a Dry Graphite Lubricant such as our #231 “Greas-em” to lubricate the trucks couplers or moving parts.
