Southern 65' 100-Ton Log Car #118003
- Built from 1973-1974 by Ortner Freight Car Company for the Mac Millan-Bloedel Company, these 65’ log cars were acquired by Southern Railway in 1986 and repainted. The Southern Railway was a Class 1 railroad that operated over 6,000 miles of track across the southern United States from 1894-1982. Today, it is now part of the Norfolk Southern system following a 1980 merger with Norfolk & Western Railway.
