Conrail Family Tree Series Car #2
- Erie Lackawanna/Ex-Erie 50' Standard Box Car Double Doors #67070
- This car was built for Erie Railroad before being repainted and absorbed into the 1960 Erie Lackawanna merger roster. Conrail was a Class 1 railroad operating in the Northeastern United States from 1976 until 1999. Conrail was formed by the federal government through the mergers of bankrupt Penn Central, Erie Lackawanna, and other roads. Conrail eventually turned a profit, and in the late 1980s it was privatized, and continued operating until the late 1990s when it was split between Norfolk Southern and CSX.
